Mountain Express SAS is an English owned, French registered company fully insured and licenced by the French Ministry of Transport and registered with the Swiss authorities to operate in Switzerland.
We provide competitively priced Private Airport Transfers linking Geneva Airport, Chambery Airport, Lyon Airport, Grenoble Airport, Moutiers Station and surrounding cities to the Alpine resorts of the French Rhone Alpes. We provide a year round service for private Ski Transfers, Road Cycling Transfers, Mountain Bike Transfers and Alpine Holiday Transfers.
Our winter operation is based in the Three Valleys in Les Menuires and Brides-les-Bains not far from Moutiers, the gateway to the Tarentaise, so we are perfectly placed to provide Taxi Transfers, Minibus Transfers and Coach Transfers to the resorts of Valmorel, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Meribel, La Tania, Courchevel, La Plagne, Les Arcs, La Rosiere, Tignes and Val D’Isere and our affiliation with other reputable transfer companies means we can also offer competitive services to the Portes du Soleil, Grand Massif, Massif des Aravis, Espace Diamant & Mont Blanc areas.
During the summer we also operate out of Aix-Les-Bains not far from from Chambery Airport and therefore within easy reach of Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble airports so we are perfectly placed to provide airport transfers to Le Bourg D'Oisans and Alpe D'Huez, the road cycling and mountain bike Meccas of the Alps whilst our Three Valleys office continues to take care of our regular winter service area during the summer months.

We are a French registered operator licensed in the Rhohe Alpes (Licence No. 2023/84/0000164 / 5) and authorised to operate in Switzerland with over 28 years of experience in the holiday industry and 39 years experience in the transport industry so we know how to deliver the service you deserve. We have been careful not to over expand thus ensuring we are big enough to better the best of the rest but small enough to genuinely care about each and every client. We provide friendly, professional, high quality, well priced Private Airport Transfers in clean, comfortable, well maintained, well equipped vehicles driven by courteous and experienced drivers.
We operate a fleet of Ford Tourneo Custom and VW T6 Caravelle 8 passenger long wheelbase 4x4 minibuses, Over the last 19 years we have also forged strong relationships with tried and trusted local suppliers who work with us every day operating similar minibuses as well as cars and also larger vehicles for group bookings. All vehicles and drivers are directly controlled by us whilst executing transfers using our driver app just like our salaried drivers so we can ensure the standard of service you deserve and we insist on is maintained. All vehicles have space for luggage and skis/boards for all the passengers and we also have trailers for Bike Boxes and other bulky sports equipment if required which we transport free of charge.
2027 will see us enter our 20th year of operating from our base in the Three Valleys. As the Alps become increasingly over run by operators from neighbouring regions and countries it is important to remember that experience and local knowledge is important when it comes to booking transfers for your family, friends and colleagues. We are not greedy - we offer a fair price for an excellent service. You can probably find much cheaper but is it really worth the risk booking a “cowboy operator” or a one man band who could let you down at the last minute?
